"It’s complicated..."
Yeah, those two words are what "inspired" me to write this blog. No this is not aimed at anyone specific, but it has just been aggravating me, and eating at me for the longest time. Ultimately, we all have struggles in our life, I’m not denying that(speaking from experience). But what bothers me the most is the lack of hope and confidence people have in themselves, even when faced with a "tilter whirl." What’s complicated is the excuses people make for themselves, and justifications as to their situation and/or life! So not to be general, but straight forward, and hopefully you will have a little room for hope at the end of this.
To the "not good enough" mentality...
What makes you not good enough? God has given each one of us special talents, and some of us have a lot of those talents in common. Your only as good as you want to be! And even though in the world’s perspective you may not be the best, in God’s perspective you are everything that he dreamed you to be, and that’s all that matters, if you choose to follow through with your calling.
To the "know it all" mentality...
You seem to know it all, and know about everyone, until it comes down to your own mishaps, and even then you justify that situation. Age DOES NOT come with wisdom. You can know every detail about Newtons Law, or decipher every book in the bible, but ultimately God knows it all.
To the "victim" mentality...
You may have had everything and some thrown at you in your life, and been knocked down time and time again. But, what’s important is what you do after every struggle and trial. Don’t settle for the "crutch", or this is what my life is...You are just hindering yourself, and avoiding the even bigger problem. Make something of yourself, prove others wrong, and most of all have goals and dreams set!
And to all those who accept the obvious, the "it’s complicated" mentality, good luck! Because I don’t know about you, but I don’t what to be uncertain about my life, and what’s going to become of me! I don’t want to take NO or IDK for an answer. That’s so not comforting! What’s comforting is knowing that God has a plan for you, and that no matter what happens their’s always hope! Just give it to him, and STOP trying to figure everything out! What’s complicated is the amount of time and energy brought to light about the "complications."
